I’ve travelled a long way from Tipperary where I grew up, though it has to be said it’s never been a long way from my heart. My journey’s taken me from a Pure English Degree at University College Dublin to London’s Rose Bruford College, where I trained as an actress.

I began doing Voiceovers straight after Drama School, after a chance meeting with an Advertising exec one day at MOMI on the South Bank (the Museum of Moving Image) where I was part of the Actors Company. That meeting led to TV and Radio VO commercials for Guinness, Gillette and Spontex amongst others. But for me the deal was sealed after an MA in Radio from Goldsmiths, University of London when I fully realised just how much I loved working with my Voice. 

Twenty five years on, my versatility and experience extends to work in several voiceover fields, from Commercials, Promos and Continuity to Audio Description, Radio Drama, Narration and Animation. 

Right now I’m also learning the skills of Lip Synch and Dubbing from the amazing Stephane Cornicard and I’m feeling the irresistible pull of Video Game Voicing. 

In a nutshell, it’s a wonderful job and I feel very lucky.
